Welcome to horotec.ch! Protecting your personal data is a priority for us. This privacy policy aims to inform you about how we collect, use, and protect your data.
1. Collection of Personal Data
The legal basis (Article 6 GDPR) for processing is contract execution for order management, legal obligations for tax data, and consent for marketing communications.
We collect the following data when you use our site:
Identification information: name, surname, email address, phone number
Billing and delivery information: postal address, payment details
Browsing data: IP address, browser type, visited pages
Order history and purchase preferences
You also have the right to request the restriction of data processing (Art. 18 GDPR) in cases provided by law.
2. Use of Data
We use your data to:

Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. However, we may share it with:
Our service providers (payment, logistics, marketing) for service execution

Your data is retained as long as necessary for the purposes described above and in compliance with legal obligations. Some service providers, such as Google (see section 7), may process data outside Switzerland and the European Union.

7. Cookies
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies (the browser's local storage).
Necessary cookies. They keep the shop working: cart, login, form security. They also remember your cookie choices and the information windows you have already closed. They cannot be switched off.
Audience measurement. Only with your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, to understand how the site is visited and how purchases are made: pages viewed, items viewed, added to the cart and ordered. The _ga and ga* cookies are kept for 13 months at most. Google may process this data outside Switzerland and the European Union, in particular in the United States.
Sales statistics. To know the actual volume of our sales, our servers also send Google Analytics the amount, the content and the number of each order, whether or not you have consented to audience measurement. If you have not, this is done without any cookie or identifier from your browser, and without your name, postal address or email address: Google cannot link it to you.
Marketing. No advertising trackers are currently set. Should that change, you would be asked for your consent beforehand.
Your choice. On your first visit, a window lets you accept everything, refuse everything or decide purpose by purpose. Your choice is kept for six months at most. You can change it at any time through the "Cookies" link at the bottom of every page, where the detailed list of cookies is also available.
Third-party services. The site relies on Adobe Fonts and Font Awesome for its fonts and icons. Some pages embed videos from YouTube, in privacy-enhanced mode, or from Vimeo. These services receive your IP address when the page loads.
